This incident caused the temporary shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park.

An additional two individuals have been arrested related to a robbery at Heathrow Airport where over twenty individuals sustained injuries by what is thought to be pepper spray, as stated by law enforcement.

A 24-year-old man, was arrested in Lambeth on suspicion of robbery and assault and a woman, 23 was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit robbery. They both remain in custody, the force said.

The arrests come after a probe into an assault at the multi-level parking garage at Heathrow's Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Prior to the attack, two women were robbed of their luggage upon exiting a car park lift.

A toddler aged three was one of the those hurt during the incident. Five people were taken to the hospital for medical care and have since been discharged.

Police detained a man in his thirties for suspected theft and assault close to the location. He has since been released under investigation as the investigation proceeds.

Authorities were alerted at approximately 8:10 in the morning GMT following reports of several individuals hurt by an irritating chemical believed to be an irritant spray.

The attack - which police said was a standalone incident and not being treated as terrorism - caused train delays and the partial closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 parking facility for a short time.
